  1. Hi,
I've made a rip from a dvd with simpledivx. But there must have been something wrong, because i have only an avi file with no audio, and a mp3 file. Both seem to be correct, but how do i have to join them togheter to one avi file?

    regards,

    Hello,

Use any audio program like winamp to convert the mp3 to wav. Then you'll be able to follow the guides.

use virtualdubmod, open the avi, add the mp3 under Stream->Stream List, select Video->Direct Stream Copy and last File->Save as.

    (I updated the faq...it hadn't been updated in a some years )

  5. Baldrick's answer was based on the fact that you CAN select an MP3 with vdub.
Are you converting this to Mpeg2 now? If so you can always multiplex the avi when converting. Just select the mp3 as the audio source and you should be all set.

Oops, Baldrick beat me to it!
