I just get Datavideo TBC-1000 and it works OK most of the time.
But I am having problems with some of my old VHS tapes.
Source VCR is old JVC HR-S8000.
Is there somethinf wrong with TBC-1000 or problem like this
cannot be corected with TBC.
Thanks

No. I have one too. Once in a great while I'll get a tape that causes severe tearing at the top of the screen with the TBC conected, but it's fine without it.
Try it with a few other tapes. If they look OK, then I think you got one of those oddball tapes.
I don't know what cause it but I suspect it's a combination of different timing irregularities and mechanical slop that messes up the horizontal information just on certain lines. I'm guessing here, as I don't know enough about it to make an educated guess. I just know that the problem is rare. -
Your VCR is most likely the problem.
