Getting a freezeup more often these days

Some vcd mpgs are giving me a problem - they are basically freezing up and forcing me to close the program and restart - in the log it says

Type: VCD
Horizontal Res: 0
Standard: PAL
Audio SampleRate: 0

Now this and every other file that has done this plays fine in every player I have installe don my machine (Windows MEdia PLayer, DIVX Player, etc) so I know it isn't a codec issue. Is there something I am missing? Thanks - other than this problem it is a great program!

yes iam getting same problem, usually where the 2 mpegs joins it freezes happing a lot latly

although I am glad I am not the only one is there a solution out there? We cannot be the only 2 having this problem. Perhaps editing something in the mpg with help?

Does the file name contain "&" ?

For example if i use filename "Life & Songs" I get :
Type: SVCD
Horizontal Res: 0
Standard: PAL
Audio SampleRate: 0


However, with filename "Life and Songs" I get :

Type: SVCD
Horizontal Res: 352
Standard: PAL
Audio SampleRate: 48000
