  1. I have a Dazzle capturing device to transfer my movies from camcorder to computer. The software that came with the Dazzle hardware is OK where it capture the movie and perform basic function on editing and burning onto DVD. I would like to have more functionalities on the editing part so I would like to know what is the best software that can capture and edit home movies.

    Thanks!

  6. I love Sony VEGAS 5.0. Starts at about $500 for editing SW only.

    LOW COST OPTION-
Sony Screenblast Movie Studio 3.0 or its successor Sony Vegas Movie Studio at $100 will do a lot for the money including edit and burn basic DVDs.
