I guess you could describe it like that. It's got some of the same characters in it but it's really a completely unrelated storyline. If I had to pigeonhole it somewhere on the original trilogy's timeline, that would maybe be the spot. As far as I know though, there weren't any encounters between Skywalker and Vader from the time Solo (who isn't in SOTME, btw) blasted Vader's Tie Fighter with the Falcon in the trench on the Death Star at the end of ANH and when Calrissian led everybody into Vader's clutches at Bespin in ESB. That's the biggest gaffe I see in that theory. I think it's really just a spinoff though, as it's not even the same author. Good read though if you're a SW fan. Check it out.

I made it to the Hannity and Colmes chapter before I lost interest in Al's book.

Wasn't real impressed with Al Franken's book. I did like the section on Bob Jones University though.

Oh... and anything the rips apart Anne Coulter is cool in my book.

Don't you hate it even more when you plagerise something from it for the same class that the professor teaches?

I'm joking about it now but that actually happened to someone I know at university. I don't know how he didn't know who the author was, the professor used to boast about it nearly every lecture.

Thanks. The book I have now is very well written...and since dr. pflanzer wrote the damn thing, it helps me understand the lecture notes.

"Leap of Faith" - autobiography (sort of) about Gordon Cooper (NASA Astronaut - Mercury, Gemini)

I got it from Amazon.com for 4 bucks.... just after he passed away in September....

Not the best written work - but the stories and bragging he does makes for a good laugh.
