  1. I'm using Windows Movie Maker to make some clips of my holiday and over some of them i've put a soundtrack. They play fine in WMM and also using WMP as well. But once I have burned the VCD and play it on my TV, the soundtrack plays around 5 - 10 seconds after it is meant to and then runs long, past the end of the clip.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I am using Nero for the burning process.
    Thanks

OK, but what do you use for all that goes between "output from MovieMaker" to "Burn it to disc"?

  3. hmm, i'm not sure what you mean. I'm new to all of this. I just burn the files (wmv) straight to the VCD using Nero.

Output to DV-AVI using Windows Movie Maker. Then try convert, author, burn with Nero. Converting first to WMV will reduce the quality a lot.

Or convert the DV-AVI to VCD with some better VCD encoder like TMPGENC and then add the mpg in Nero or VCDEasy and just burn it.

OK! Well, what Nero does, is first reencoding the wmv to mpeg1, then author it as VCD, then burn the VCD structure and files to disc. It's good at the last step.
Here's a guide for you to read.
