  1. I am trying to convert a .dts to 6 wavs... and I am doing it in two different pcs now, both on windows xp. The problem is:
If I use the HypercubeTrancoder, it either close itself when I try to load the DTS file, or it load the file and give me a message saying "unable to render file. Perhaps, some filters missing"
I tried then Be Sweet, using AZIDTS. When I try to run it, I got this error from AZIDTS: "CreateFilter: Failed to create filter! hr=0x80040154
    DShowErr: FAILED(hr=0x80040154) in CreateFilter(CLSID_DTSSource, &pReader)
    "

Both pcs have windvd6 platinium instaled and registred.

How could I fix any one of the problems, or is there another way to convert a dts to 6 wavs?

take a look on the www.needfulthings.webhop.org
with the besweet installer (and the including dll; ax -> there is a seperate installing routine for this) and azidts the decoding should work (as it did for me)
    -> WINDVD 6 shouldn´t be a trial version!

    please give feedback

BEST WAY TO CONVERT DTS TO WAV OR MP2:
you need the "DTSWAV DS Filter" from http://hypercube.is.dreaming.org
you need the "DTS / AVI Filters" from http://www.doom9.org
you need the "Cyberlink Audio Decoder" from PowerDVD 5 Deluxe
    use Hypercube Transcoder from http://hypercube.is.dreaming.org
set the frequency and the input frequency to 44100 if needed
    select "DirectShow Processing"
select "WAV Engine (single 6ch file)" or "MP2 Engine"
right-click on the "Cyberlink Audio Decoder", click on settings/properties, select 6 speaker

deckard8: i've got this files.. now what? I installed Power DVD, and get all the .ax files from the audio filter folder, pluz the ones from the "DTS Avi Filters" and put them on the hypercube\filters, but I still got the message "unable to render file. Perhaps, some filters missing" when I try to open a DTS...
Using the DTS2WAV it try to create a 2 channel wav file (not 5ch), and still I got a error message at the end.
