    G Day,

The files or iso are probably still to big to fit on a single layer disc, try running the files through Shrink again to reduce the size, or start trimmeng the fatty extras.

    Cheers

  3. What kind of audio soundtrack do you have on the DVD? LPCM or AC3?

its probably cause its a concert DVD and it would have large audio files,

what audio are you leaving in, does it have DTS, 5.1, etc

you have to decide what audio you want to keep

are you letting dvdshrink automatically shrink it for you, if so i would change ( Goto Preferences in DVDSHRINK ) the target DVD Size to custom and make it 4350 ( or there abouts )

Please specifically state exactly what happened when you tried to run this twice through DVDShrink.

Also, did you try to "deselect" some audio tracks (if there is more than one?)

Many, many commercial DVDs are dual layer, and will not fit onto a single layer disc without some pretty drastic compression, or deleting some program content, or splitting the disc into two separate discs.

Sometimes, the amount of compression necessary in order to make it all fit on one disc exceeds the "defaults" that DVDshrink is pre-set to. So, either change the defaults (which was suggested), or run it through twice (which was also suggested), so you can compress it twice.

    Have you read the Guides?

The answers you have been given were all the usual solutions, and they SHOULD work.

Splitting this into two separate DVDs will also work.

The responses you receive will be much more meaningful, and accurate, and effective, and they will solve your problems if you try to be a bit more communicative. If something does not work, explain exactly what occurs, or what happens when you try. This is the only way others can determine what is going on here, causing something to "not work."

  9. Hi all.

rocket_xtreme, DVD Shrink has a limit to the amount of compression it can apply to a video stream.
If you can't or do not want to remove the LPCM stream, your options are either to use Shrink twice, ignoring the "files are too big..." message the first time around, or to split the DVD to two discs.

i had that prob too...i just used titlesetblanker to get rid of useless extras after shrink went through it once. after taking off about 350 mb it burned fine. just open the files and run it through shrink again. it wont encode or anything.
