having trouble burning VCD

Hi

Yesterday I burned a VCD with no problems, i've got a bunch of Windows Media Files that I want to put on VCD. So I did that as a test and it worked fine.

So today I get about 6 of these files and go to burn the disk, but what happenes is that for about an hour it says "Encoding Video" then says "preparing items" then a couple of "cashing" items then all it does is save an "image" to my hard drive. That's it. Nothing gets put on the actual CD.

I have no idea what is going on as it worked fine yesterday. Can anyone give me a few tips?

What program are you using ?????

Nero sounds like... you need to select your burner on nero, other wise its just creating an image to your HD like you said...

yeah, i'm stupid!! I don't know what happened because i've been burning with this burner for years and then suddenly it has changed to "image" instead of naming the burner I am using.

It's all fixed now, guess I should have checked that before posting. sorry guys!
