  1. Put the carts thru one by one and then move the clip from the black to the blue. That should give you more room.
You'll probably want to use a fresh piece of that black form tape. Clean off the old piece first.

Delete all print jobs and turn the printer off. Remove any foreign objects from inside the printer. After a few minutes, turn the printer back on.

Turn the printer off. Close the DVD tray. Leave off for a minute. Then turn back on.

  5. Unplug the printer and plug it back. Turn power on again. Try what Bodyslide and I said a couple of times. It should work.

  8. It does this when you try to print and the paper will go in about an inch?

Reseat your carts and power off/on the printer again.

  9. I've just try to set it up, when the cartridges slide across the inside of the printer, when it reaches the far left side you here like a grinding sound. but there is nothing jammed.

Your using the CIS Correct? If so make sure that the tubes are not hitting the cartridges anywhere inside the printer.

  12. How do you have it set up? Is the cover still on your carts or did you remove the cover?
I notice that my printer did this too a few times while I was trying to get my cart unclogged. It had nothing to do with anything being stuck in the printer. I never found what was causing it but power off/on would help. Sometimes It took a few times for it to work. As you can image with me already having the problem with my cart, I was almost about the throw the printer across the room cause of the flashing lights.

The first night I had mine the lights flashed for a few hours. I got so upset over it , I turned it off and unplugged it. The next day I pulled the CIS out and placed the original cartridges in ran a few prints off no issues. Then reloaded the CIS and rechecked my setup of the tubes. And since then no issues.

How far away are your cartridges from the printer? Mine are almost touching the right side. Your tubes might not be long enough with how yours are positioned?

Looks like the clip might be hitting something on the left side of the printer. Also the tubes themselves might be hitting the printer cover to the left. Maybe move the clip back to the right just a bit. Make it sit flush on the cartridges.

When I get home, I'll try and make some photos of my rig.

  24. ok ill try this method of uploading photos.... http://members.cox.net/layhay/epson%20setup%20003.jpg after much duck tape and a couple months of use i have finally got it set up this way. It seems to be the best for me. I cut a slot with my cordless circular saw so i will use a zip tie to hold the tubes there. Just tape for now.http://members.cox.net/layhay/epson%20setup%20002.jpghttp://members.cox.net/layhay/epson%20setup%20004.jpg

Never thought about running the tubes up top.

Here's the link to your photo.
