  1. How do i import an .nrg image file into NeroVison Express 2, so that I can add menus and create chapters?

Also, how would you add .bup and .ifo files into nerovision express 2, so that it doesn't waste time making them n transcoding because i have .vob, .ifo and .bup files after using winavi video converter, bt they r like 9Gb and i want to get them onto one disc. If anyone has any ideas, post a reply please.

  3. Yeah, i got that bit. But how do you add chapters and add a menu, because it automatically takes me to this screen with no option to chapter creation or menus?

Oops. My mistake. That only lets you burn the image, not edit.

Try burning to a HD folder, then open the VOB files with Vision Express using the "Make Movie", then "Open Video File"

  5. I can't do that because the vob files total upto 9Gb and i want to compress them. The image file was compressed, but for some reason DVDShrink is not allowing me to import the video_ts folder. It is probably something i'm doing. It says invalid data from the .vob files and i have created those through winavi converter so they should work.
I do not know what to do, because i need them to fit on one disc. Also with nerovision express when i press burn, it says transcoding. I think transcoding is creating .ifo and .bup files, but I already have those from winavi video converter. So is there anyway i can put those into Nerovision express because the transcoding takes nearly 2 hours for one episode (1 vob file) and i have 14 episodes

I would be suspicious that DVDShrink isn't letting you open the folder, and is giving you the invalid files message. Are you sure these files aren't corrupt or non-DVD compliant? If they aren't compliant, I think you're going to be stuck transcoding them.

  7. Well the folder was created using WivAVI video converter. It created a .bup, .ifo and .vob for each riginal avi file and it also created 2 files called "video_ts.bup" and "video_ts.ifo".
I've read in this forum that winavi video converter is usually very reliable and usually creates right output files.

Are the files that i hav just mentioned meant to have been created? and are they dvd format?

Is there any other quick alternative way of converting avi to vob, if winavi video converter is doing them incorectly for me?
