i have a magic spin 8x dual rw bdvdrw8d, came with fw 110e, up dated to io magic DDO401-1301,UP TILL THEN WOULD BURN 8X AT 4X ONLEY ,WITH UPDATE BURNS AT 8X ON 4X OR 8X RIDATA. BUT ON NERO CAN'T USE HD. Any way to fix this .

Uhhh... kind of hard to understand your question. If you mean HD-burn discs, you need compatible media so not all CD-Rs will work. Ridata CD-Rs work with HD-Burn (maybe not all Ridata).

If you are having problems with your drive, you can try flashing with the latest Optorite or Accesstek firmware, but it sounds like everything is ok.
