  1. Thanks guys

I used Copy toDVD to burn my DVD files to disk. It worked at treat.

I’m not really complaining as the disk ran basically without error on my Xbox, but I was just wondering

    1. How would I put chapters into the disk (2.4 GB’s)? Would I do that by re-burning it with Nero 6 and use the chapter creation function in that package or is there a better way?

    2. Is there was a way to clean up the graininess of the downloaded video files (E.g. improve final Quality) before you do the final burn to disk or am I asking the impossible here?

Please let me know if I should be looking in the forum for this stuff.

    Thanks again Yowie

You are limited in what you can do. There are some filters for virtualdub and other programs that can reduce the blockiness of highly compressed video, improve the clarity, but you don't have a lot to work with. Depending on how bad the source is, and what type of source, you can get some improvements.

I would look at getting a cheap authoring system like TDA or DVD Lab. You can quickly create menus and chapters for your files and compile them into DVD compliant structures ready to burn. The advantage of these programs is they will grow with you, so as you want to get more sophisticated, you will have the tools at hand.

  3. 1. you have to use a sotware to create the chapters...as nero, dvd lab or others.

Always try to get the best source possible. You can clean up noisy material later, but you can't really "add quality" after the fact
