I AM VERY NEW NOT ONLY TO TV CARDS BUT ALSO COMPUTING, STUPIDLY I THOUGHT ALL I HAD TO DO TO WATCH TV AND CAPTURE VIDEO USING MY PC WAS INSTALL THE CARD AND LOAD THE SOFTWARE. HOW OPTIMISTIC WAS THAT! THE DRIVERS THAT CAME WITH MY JETWAY CARD CRASH MY PC, ONCE INSTALLED THE MACHINE JUST CONTINUALLY REBOOTS. I'VE RESTORED TO AN EARLIER DATE BUT WHAT DO I DO NOW. OBVIOUSLY I'VE LOOKED FOR THE DRIVERS ON THE JETWAY SITE ,THEY WON'T INSTALL PROPERLY. HERES THE QUESTION HAS ANYONE GOT THIS CARD TO WORK IF SO HOW, I'M LOOKING FOR DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE SO I CAN USE IT LIKE IT SAYS ON THE TIN. HERES MY SPECS WINDOWS XP PROF & SP2, AMD ATHLON 64BIT 2.8, ASUS MOTHERBOARD K8V, MSI FX5200-T128 GRAPHICS CARD, MEDION(PIONEER)107D DVD BURNER. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED PLEASE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT MY LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. THANKS

You in luck! - I think your card can use the BtWincap drivers. I looked in this list >
http://www.chris-tv.com/cards.html
BtWincap drivers are a lot better than the ones you got with the card (faster/allow more capture resolutions) and should solve all your problems. Get them here >

Ok done that downloaded driver and installed them. Know how do I start using the thing. Sorry to sound so dim but i can't find an idiots guide.

Right, you need capture software. I recommend you download all of these and which one works best with your system - all these are freeware >
1. VirtualDubMpeg2 > http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/stable/
2. VirtualVcr > http://virtualvcr.sourceforge.net/
3. FlyCapDS > http://www.asvzzz.com/download.htm
3. Xvid codec > http://nic.dnsalias.com/xvid.html
4. Xvid decompressor > http://nic.dnsalias.com/xvid.html
5. huffyUV codec >

6. PicVideo MJpeg codec (commercial) >
http://www.pegasusimaging.com/picvideomjpeg.htm
I personally capture using the virtualdubmpeg2/xvid codec - max bitrate/all other options turned off. (It is important to turn off all other options because otherwise the cpu load will be too high and you will drop frames.)
Also if you are capturing with Virtualdubmpeg2, you may need to set display window to preview mode instead of overlay (if overlay screen is black)
