I chucked Windows ME when it balked at my 1GB upgrade. I balked back, and of course, I won.

    XP Pro it is.

Bit the bullet, did a clean format, and haven't look back.

You could just use some capture sofware that splits the file at 1G chunks (or any other size)
MainConcept has this option (though I never had to use it)

DarrellS why did you do this know that all Windows95 OSR2 though ME have a 4GB limit (Fat32) not count Windows95 which has a 2GB (Fat16) limit.
Your best option is back up what you mainly need and re-start from ground up clean install with Windows 2000 and format the disk to NTFS.
If you really need Windows98 that bad you could alway build up cheap'o 2nd PC just for Win9x OS and network them and your problem fix.
The real reason to keep Win9x OS is for old dos game but even a lot of them do work check out NT Compatible.

That convert command has worked for me in the past with Windows 2000 and XP.

As an absolute last resort, you could always reformat using NTFS from a clean install so long as you have a copy of 2000 on disc.
    If in doubt, Google it.

jimmalenko bear in that preason he paid did not setup the dual boot in rigth way.
The rigth way would have been with Boot manager that auto hide OS partition like Partition Magic.

I set up a dual boot 98/XP without using any boot managers at all and it worked perfectly. All you have to do is install 2000/XP last and it's as good as gold. The only downside is you need a FAT32 partition for 98, and I prefer NTFS for 2000/XP. You don't need to autohide anything - simply make 98 boot off your C drive and 2000/XP will boot off any other drive without any hassles.
    If in doubt, Google it.
