3gp format is the video format for 3G mobile (cell) phones and I want to convert some mpegs and avi's to this format for a mate of mine.
Yes I know Quicktime Pro (ffmpegX and Nokia's own tool) can do it, BUT can you frameserve with Avisynth or Vdub to QT (etc) as there seems to be no editing features in QT? And what about audio? Also what framerate is the 'standard', same goes for bitrate etc?
What I REALLY want to know is, ARE any of the common tools (avisynth, CCE, Mainconcept, ProCoder, TMPG, Vdub, VdubMod etc) suitable for .3gp files (wether just frameserving or encoding)?
Also what about AUDIO?
Does anyone have any experience in this area yet?
3ivx looks like it could do it (from within Vdub) but information on this file type is so sketchy I havent a clue where to start other than RESIZING to 128 X 96, then what?.....I need help!
Anyone?
PS. These .3gp videos could well be THE NEXT BIG (well little) THING (if you believe the hype.....£20billion for the UK 3G phone rights alone cant be that wrong, can it?
Cheers.
