  1. This is very annoying, i download movies which could be on average 1.6g and when i go to extract it 70% of the time it has an error. This meaning i can usually only extract 1 bin file hense not being able to put it on a DVD.

Its ok to watch on the computer cos i can preview it with VLC media player, Although something weird happens, the movie starts then half way exactly the very first tar file from say the introduction of the movie plays... then it continues from where it was.

If anyone has an explanation for this it would be of great help... id love to just be able to download the tar again until it has no errors but then i pay $100 a month for 20gig so that would suck. thank u

why not just go buy the dvd and stop downloading movies off the internet .... :

you prob. also mean rar files - not tar files (but you might mean tar files also)

  3. I would complain to the service provider that the tar files they are selling you are corrupt, and ask for your money back

  5. You can attempt to fix them with Winrar, it never works but it may pass some time.

I just love some of the "advice" I see on this site
