Hi
My question is pretty straightforeward, and hopefully the answer will be too, but somewhow, I dont see that it will.
I would like to know if its possible to resize a widescreen DVD to Fullscreen without stretching the image.
I realize that if it were possible, that I would lose some of the frame on each side (left and right), I can deal with that.
I would just 'zoom' but... well this question has been rattling around in my head for a while now, and I'm quite curious if there is a solution complex or otherwise.
thank you for your time.

Hello,
Yes you could do it with tempgenc.
Yes it will be locked into the center of the screen losing the edges. If it's a really wide movie like Star Wars (2.35 to 1) it can be quite a loss since you can't easily make your own pan and scan, just a crop.
You can do it but it would be easier to buy the full screen version of the movie to have it down properly (if you like fullscreen that is).
Do a forum search and you'll find plenty of threads on the conversion.Good luck.
