    Hi all,
    Yesterday i ripped for the first time a dvd with gordian knot, just to test if it all works well. When i looked this morning at the result, I was surprised because i saw tho avi-files of 1.8gb each.
    I entered a size of 700mb, and the bitrate was about 1500. But when using video-inspector, i saw a bitrate of 4400! What went wrong?
    I followed the guide available from this site step by step,

    Did you use two-pass encoding? Also, did you mess with the bitrates in the DivX control panel (Gordian Knot sets these up for you)?
