I ripped several music videos to make a "best of" DVD. But after ripping I notice that some files have a delay.
eg: music video 1: audio delay -144 ms
music video 2: audio delay -135 ms
music video 3: audio delay - 40 ms
Does this delay can cause audio synch problems ?
If yes, how can I correct it without reprocessing the sound ?

I ran into a similar problem. I made a sampler dvd from my own various dvd proects. I used dvd shrink to extract a scene from each dvd. I then put the vobs into dvd lab, each vob being a seperate title. When I compiled the dvd, I noticed the audio was way off on most of the clips. Turns out the ac3 audio had to be adjusted for delay. So to answer your question, yes the delay may cause an audio sync issue only if it's not corrected when you author the dvd. DVD Lab pro allows you to adjust the audio delay.

Ive had the audio delay before - it was a problem with either corruption in one of my codecs or possibly a conflict in the codecs - all i could do was delete all codes and reinstall my dvd authoring software (nero express2) - which sorted the problem out
