  3. I suppose the only thing about that is that the pedestrian probably didn't suffer.

  4. Something looks odd about the "speed" of the action....
Like when the cars first collide..

Either way, I guess when it's your time... it's your time..

This is why I hate ******** who run reds. Also...if it was the other car's right of way, then the pedestrian sholdnt have been crossing anyway.

The things that bothers me is the change in brightness when the car enters the frame from the bottom.

Pluse look, the PT crusier had the green light. Why would the cars coming from the other direction be slowing down if they had a green light? Why didn't the car i the left lane turn?

    I think it's a fake.

I noticed that too.... possibly cloud cover .... just after that you see a slight darkening as well (trees are all over the place so it is quite windy)

Do you think it was faked?

Looks fake to me. maybe used in a road safety campaign or something. where did you find the clip offline?
    Quote Quote
  14. It was emailed to me Flan. No idea of its origin. I can't see it being
part of a safety campaign - too graphic. It looks real to me - the
slowing car problem and the lighting could just be artifacts of the
    street camera and the encoding.

I've seen it before, he lived. They say that part of what helped him was the huge dent in the SUV. It formed a pocket when it rolled over him. He was seriously injured but not killed. I'll dig up the story again.

Nice work digging that up viral. When I first saw that I thought "When it's your time, that's it". But now I think "When it isn't your time ...it's not time". Man, having the dent provide a safe cavity while the car rolled over him I wonder how much he recovered.

Why does it say the PT ran the red light, it looks green to me.

Because the car on the PT side was stopped and the ones on the opposite sides were slowing down...indicating a red.
