Slide Show Movie Maker (SSMM) 3.7: disabling slow transition

Which transitions on slide show movie maker are slow? Is there a list somwhere? i.e. Blur-Fade takes a couple of minutes to compile. Any other ones out there? thanks.

Here's a sample from settings.ini

[FADING_EFFECTS]
Additional Dissolve=0
Blur-Fade=1
Diagonal-Stretch-Right-Top=0
Vibration=0

(from this list, only Blur-Fade is slow). Post your list if u've compiled one. thanks.

just tried Blur-Fade...with only two pics!! took almost 8 minutes to compile...

and here's my settings.ini:

just a thought, but maybe try a different transition than Blur-Fade...

hey,

from the settings.ini, i think that any transition effect w/ a "=1" next to it means that it's disable during 'random fadings' settings won't be used during the random fadings. Thus, my settings.ini had a "Blur-Fade=1" on it. i'm pretty much looking for any other effects that need a =1 next to them, since those are the ones that end up taking a couple of minutes to render. yeah, 8 minutes for one transition stinks.

on a side note, anyone know how to coordinate the slide show w/ music so that intead of having fixed frames on each slide, it automatically sets the values so that the slide show ends when the song ends? thanks.
