For those that doesn't know, when we capture realtime mpeg 2 with mainconcept 1.4.1 or 1.4.2 at a framesize less than 720 x 576/480, we have a picture distortion, like stuttering, at the bottom of the screen.

The only way I know to correct it (eliminate it), is to de-activate the "motion search pixel movement".
But this is not the best solution since I may not have stuttering, but I may have ghosting when something is moving on screen.

So I wonder, does anyone here figure out a better way to solve this issue? Or we have to wait the next version in case it is solved?

One thing I recently noticed, is that when I set on the "multiplexer Settings" tab the option "Timestamps" on "I Frames", mainconcept became more CPU demanding than leave it on "All frames", while capturing

So, it seems that Mainconcept is not so popular after all...

Statstorm one question, have you tried VirtualVCR or PowerVCR? What are the problems with them? Im hearing that at least for avi capture VirtualVCR is ok.

This is not about avi capture (analogue / mpeg 4).
We talking about software realtime mpeg 2 capture!

For avi captures, both virtualdub and virtualvcr are excellent solutions!
