Here is the COMPLETE solution to duplicating DVD's on a Mac:
Programs needed: DVDBackup, DVD2oneX (v1.4.1), Disk Utility.
1. Install these programs.
2. Insert commercial DVD.
3. Apple's DVD player will run, quit the application.
4. Open DVDBackup.
5. Click the 'Add DVD Files...' button, select the commercial DVD on your desktop.
6. Select the correct Region Code (most North American DVD's are 1)
7. Process Files.
8. When finished there should be a VIDEO_TS file (roughly 7GB).
9. Eject the DVD.
10. Open DVD2oneX.
11. Click the source button, locate the new VIDEO_TS file.
12. Select desired Output.
13. Under Copy, select 'Dick Copy'.
14. Read the help file to determine which Ratio you want.
15. Check the 'Create Image' box and name your new DVD copy.
16. For Audio options, check only the languages you want.
17. Click the 'Start' button, save your new files in a new folder.
18. Open Disk Utility (...Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility)
19. Click the Burn button.
20. Select the new .img file that DVD2oneX created.
21. Insert DVD, burn.

Thanks for that
A few things you should be aware of :
1. DVDBackup stopped working for a lot of people after doing archive & install upgrades to panther. Round these parts we recommend MacTheRipper.
2. The ripped video_ts folder wont always be 7gig. Sometimes it will be as small as 3.5gig.
3. There's a very similar tutorial in a 'sticky' at the top of the list of posts in this forum -
jkelty - thanks for that. Its an exact copy of most of the tutorials already listed in our tutorial post otherwise I would add it there, with some editing of coarse

Personally like this dick-copy, being gay...
Apple Disk Copy yields allways best results, when Toast has problems. DVDStudio Pro makes excellent images to be burnt with Disk Copy. Just do it!
