Perhaps if you encoded the .wav to an .mp2 or an .ac3??
For .mp2, i use Toolame, for .ac3, i use FFmpegui..
These can be merged to create an Mpeg file, but many authouring apps prefer separate streams...
FYI, the .ac3 stream created, isn't 100% compliant, but i haven't found a player that wouldn't playback...
BTW, you'll find that the video bitrate can be beefed up, since you have all this potential space left over due to the audio being compressed. Potentially creating a better quality video.
