  1. I saw this aspire laptop that came out in march `04 that retailed at $1,499, but everywhere I look its 2 grand plus.

    If Acer's laptops are anything like their optical drives were, you can keep 'em.

    I was never much for laptops but I got my first one today its an older thinkpad ( workhorse from what I have heard ) for about $ 3-something
    so I have to play with it and get back to you

    I've got an old Thinkpad 755CD. Total relic, total POS. I wonder if Acer made that one, too?

    I just wasn't certain that I read that price right...did you say $1500 Um....let me just say....$1500 for a laptop NO ******* WAY.

    Dude you seriously need to make some friends in the computer industry. I can't remember the last time I paid over $30 for anything. For example, my 2.2 Ghz AMD HP Pavilion Notebook...it cost me...well, actually I got it free. Back when Iomega Zip drives were popular, I bought 3 for $3. I just bought a 21" monitor for $25, hell he just gave me a 160 GB Seagate HD...he had a few extra
