Ya know I'm finding it harder lately to get good CD-R's than I am DVD-R's. I'm set with these Maxell DVD-R's thanks to Riteaid's sale last week ($1.50 per disc with jewel case, not TOO bad), but I find myself down to my last 5 Fujifilm CD-R's and there are no good sales on these that I see anywhere at the moment so..anyone got any recommendations? I'm probably going to go through newegg, and most likely get 50 discs since this last stack took me a few months to go through, but if the price is right I'll go for 100 and be set for a long long time. Thanks in advance.

  2. I buy the 100-pack CD-Rs from Taiyo Yuden at rima.com. I recently switched to white-tops to keep my Epson R200 happy. But I've purchased thousands of TY CD-Rs and never had any complaints.

The current price on 100 TY printables is $32.00, and $26.00 for TY regulars.

That sounds like what I'm looking for. Any burn failures for you? I don't expect every disc to be flawless and at that price I certainly don't mind a few coasters, its just 100 is a lot of discs to commit to.

NewEgg has the 48X Verbatim DataLife Plus CDRs, although they are not currently in stock. but the Taiyo-Yudens are. Both are GREAT CD-Rs and they only ones I ever use anymore.
