  1. Hi

I've been watching through some of my friends DVD Discs.. and some of them have a meny with deleted scenes on them

what I'd like to know is how do I rip those scenes so I can put them in the movie where they belong ?

also, If there's some watermarking tool or anything I can use to make my logo appear before the movie starts I'd like any hints regarding that

  2. Don't quote me on this, but this might work:

Rip the DVD (the movie and the extra scene(s))
    Encode them as MPEG 1/2
Use something like Adobe Premier to edit the movie.
Finish any other encoding (if doing a DVD->DivX rip)

    BTW, watermarking sux.

  3. First of all, I assume that you already know how to rip DVD to (S)VCD. To rip deleted scenes and all special feature, you need to rip the exact vob files.

During the rip process, you can see many vob files, however Smart ripper always pick the vob file that contain main movie. In this case you need to choose vob file yourself. If you don't know which vob I suggest that you rip the whole DVD under file mode with smart ripper.

  4. If you don't want to use premiere you could also do some elaborate scripting in avisynth to put in the scenes where they belong, then you'd just load the script in TMPGEnc and encode. It will take a while though.
