Princo brand disc's seem to get bashed all the time, myself, that is the brand I have used from the start and the speed 1x

Most of the time it is not important to me how fast the burning process is, therefore I do not see the advantage of using higher priced media if my results are satisfacory with the cheaper (Princo -r 1x)

Just bought 600 at $20/100 a few weeks back, gave them to my grown children so they would not be concerned about the cost of learning how to burn me some video's of grandkids

Using ADS usb InstantDvd-2 with the latest capwiz ver 3.5 (cap program) that has a true DTD (direct to disc) option I have not had a problem using Princo -r 1x media at all

To me, the bottom line is, do they work well for YOU.
They do for me, so I keep buying them

Very good information site above, if you did not go read it, do so.

  4. I got suckered into buying some of their DVD-R's. 50 or was it 100 for $20.00?

I thought they were 4x, but turned out to be on 2x's. So for so good. I just use them for backing up old data.
