I have been trying to convert a video with TMPGENC, the program takes the usual time to convert(About 4 hrs) but only converts only first 2 minutes of a 2hr video. and the file is about 4GB. where is the rest of the movie? what am i doing wrong?
i have used this program before and it converts fine. but i have been having problems with two videos i have. they are already in SVCD format and i am changing them in DVD format. if that helps.
thanks

can you scroll through the entire film if you use the built in preview, under file->preview ?

i have done that and it does work, but can i burn it on dvd and would the film be there?
or would i have to some other software do convert the SVCD to DVD? -
However long it says it is when you go to burn, that's how long it will be. I've had problems with it when it sets it up to burn, it copies to the hard drive right the first time, but when it copies it the second time part of it is missing.
