Hi,
I have just bought a Sony DVD player (model: DVP-355 - think ive got that right). I have firstly been extracting the audio from movie files using Virtual Dub and then using TMPGenc Xpress 3.0 to merge the two into a MPEG-1 VCD format file.
All goes well but when I get about into 20 minutes of the movie when watching it on my DVD player after burning to CD, it gets slightly but noticeably out of sync.
I have noticed when I change the audio source in TMPGenc Xpress it warns me that Clip/edit and keyframe data will be reset and give the option to continue: yes (continue and do reset); no (continue but dont reset); or cancel. For the last movie I chose Yes. Would this make any diffence?
Also, to tie up with the subject matter of whether it is a conversion or player fault, I also notice that when it goes out of sync on the player and I tap quick search (rewind/fast forward) for a split second then play, it sorts it. Any help please?

Hoe does it play on your computer? Is it in sync all the way through?
