    Whenever I go to play any video mpg, avi or DVD on my computer no matter which player it is in, my video is always black, i get sound, but only black video any help would be appreciated!

    You've set the monitor as the SECONDARY display and not the PRIMARY...I presume on the TV-out it works fine?

    Change the OVERLAY/CLONE options to display on both.
