  1. ive used avi joiner, that didnt work, so i decided to use virtualdub 1.4. i ran it and i followed the instructions from the guide and i get this message. it said:

'WARNING: NOTHING TO OUTPUT BFRAME DECODER LAG' that was when i opened my first .avi i was trying to merge or join. then i followed the guide along and went to file > append avi segment and opened the second part of the avi and i recieved yet another error, this one being totally different and it was a popup error:

    'virtualdub error'
'cannot append segment "d:\hero.*etc etc*xvid.*etc etc*cd2.avi": the audio streams have different data formats.

i dont get what that means, i know it said audio streams, but what is the data format about?

    can someone further explain?

    thanks a lot!
