Many months ago I created a 3GB AVI file that I wish to delete. When I try to delete it I get an error message that says the file is in use by another program. I have tried going into safe mode and then to command prompt to delete it but command prompt doesn't recognize my extra D: drive. At lease it doesn't let me switch to it under "cd" change directory. Anyone have a suggestion rather than formatting the drive?

MAKE SURE you back up your registry beforehand, just in case.... -
