Greetings, all. I've finally decided that my Pioneer DVD-114 is a piece of $#!+ and I want to upgrade to something better. I want to buy something that I can use to rip DVDs and also to backup my data CDs (using CloneCD, etc.). The Toshiba drives seem to be very popular, and I am considering buying one. My question relates to the DVD ripping speed of the SD-M1402 and SD-M1502 drives. I think that I read something awhile back that indicated that the SD-M1402 ripped DVDs a lot faster than the SD-M1502 (the SD-M1502 was locked at 2x rip or something?) Same article stated that the SD-M1502 ripped audio a lot faster than the SD-M1402 (not a biggee for me). So, how fast do the SD-M1402 and SD-M1502 drives rip DVD?
