Just got screened here in Australia in a two part mini-series format.
Wasn't too bad a watch and had me watching till the end. The end was a bit of a letdown but I think it lines it up for a continuing story.
What did everyone else think?

Hello,
Never saw it. Was it cable only in the US??? Wouldn't have been able to see it then, no cable/satellite.

Looks like it is a USA Network item

Overview:
From Executive Producer Francis Ford Coppola's production company, American Zoetrope, comes a haunting new limited series: THE 4400.
Over the last century, thousands of people have gone missing. Suddenly and inexplicably, 4400 missing people are returned all at once, as they were on the day they vanished. Unclear what this world altering-event means, the government investigates the 4400 to piece together where they've been and why they've been returned. It quickly becomes apparent that their presence will change the human race in ways no one could have ever foreseen. -
As a sci-fan I thought the concept/story was good
The series was rather long
Left a great potential for future episodes/whatever, depending on the writers ability
Yes I captured and achieved all to dvd
I prefer the concept within a sci-fi theme to be beliveable which I think this effort did
