  1. I'm trying to create a DVD from a subtitled avi. The avi does not have hard subs, but rather has an SRT file for each half of the movie. Obviously I want to have subtitles, but I have no idea how to do it? I'd prefer to hard sub it during the encoding process if possible. BTW - I'd prefer to use either TMPGEnc or Canopus Procoder if possible.

  2. dl and install vobsub onto your system.

    put the avi and srt file into the same folder.
    rename the avi and srt file so they have the same name.

    eg. example.avi and example.srt

    encode the file using tmpgenc. You should start seeing the subs come up as you encode.
