    i downloaded a file,but apperntly its a dsvcd,neva cum cross this b4 i cant play it on win media player,can any 1 shed ne light on this file. can it b converted to a diff format, ie dvd or vcd?

    DSVCD is apparently a SVCD with higher bitrate ~5000 kbps 480×576 (480 NTSC), ; fixed or variable MPEG-2. May be incompatible with some players.

    play it a with software dvd player like windvd,powerdvd. . to convert click on Convert in the menu to the left here and select "svcd to" under the conversion box.
