  1. hi all i am using win avi video convertor to convert xvid movie so i can burn to dvd this works great but sometimes i get a movie in 2 parts how do i join these or how do i add the 2 together so i can burn to dvd.

    is there a menu program i can use

    Hi stevehickey6,

    The above are 2 options, though joining AVIs with VirtualDub (called "appending") requires that the framerates of each file are exactly the same - I once had a problem coz one file was 24.9996 fps and the other was 24.9993 fps.

    Or, you could just go ahead and encode them to MPEG and then use the two separate files as inputs during authoring. The output VOBs will treat them as one contiouous file.

    I've not used Womble (MPEG-VCR), so shan't comment.
