  1. Hi,

I have some vob files (music videos coming from several DVD), I want to make a compilation.

Some files are AC3 (DD 2.0) and other are LPCM.

I author with TMPG DVD Author. For the LPCM tracks, no problem, I put them in the same track.

But for the tracks with AC3 audio some are 192 kbps, other are 256 kbps.
So can I put them on the same track without having compatibility problems ? Or is it better to convert all ac3 to mp2 or lpcm ?

    Thx

    Hello,

I can't imagine there would be a problem with the different bitrates.

BUT, to be safe why don't you author than like normal and burn to a rewritable disc to be on the safe side. Then you'll know if it doesn't work you won't have wasted a blank.

--That's an interesting question. I think I might scrounge up some bonus discs and see if the trailers are at different audio bitrates than the documentaries (it would make sense since it would save them some disc space)--
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
