    hi. i am using a Ulead VS8 and had just edited a movie and viewed the AVI file from pc and it was ok but when i transfered it from pc to camcorder using a firewire the video was ok and all (voice and background music) is lost. how can i fix this? thanks.

    I have just had a similar issue.
    It seems to be to do with whether you are using Type-1 or Type-2 DV files.
    In order to remedy this on this occasion, I used WinDV to export the AVI back to the camcorder.
