    Hi

    What's the best software player to test an authorized DVD? PowerDVD is not, because PowerDVD start fine and my standalone NOT. Any suggestions?

    none of them --- because in software , they will play almost anything ..

    unless you use a dvd testing software (very expensive), and not a player anyway ..
