    Hi

    I've got an external Pika One writer and I'm trying to update the firmware using the Live Update jobby from www.drvupdate.com. It recognises the drive (DVDRW-IDE1008), My current firmware is 0052 and the latest is 0159.

    When I try and flash using the Windows Flash and select upgrade it comes up with, Check sum: 4D95, Please wait a minute.... Execute command errorA!!! 5/20/0
    Flashing is incorrect!!

    Can some translate the error message or point me in the right direction.

    Has anyone got any ideas? or can external burners firmware not be updated.
