Anyone have any experience with the WinTV2000 capture application that comes bundled with the PVR-250 USB2 product?
I am experiencing at random times capture errors that take down the application. These are (so the error messages says) Stream Errors.
I have experienced this on a number of different composite type inputs and cannot seem to qualify it to a specific type or event. And it happens rather randomly. That is after say 10 to 40 minutes of capture, it will just hang.

    Any help??

What about the other capture app WinTV32??

If you have not update the latest driver and download the latest WinTV2000 software... they are available here.

    Hello,

I have the pci card of pvr250. I used to get an error capturing vcd. It wouldn't do it all. I then downloaded an update and it worked fine.

Have you tried different capture qualities??? Is it always at dvd standard quality??? Keep trying different recording levels and see if it happens at all of them. If it does it must be something deeper.

You could always reinstall it completely. Also, a clean install of windows never hurts either.

Download the HCWCLEAR from the Hauppauge website and use it to clean your system. Then reinstall your latest drivers.
