  1. I have the usual problem of downloading avi files and having audio sync problems.

In all of the cases, the video blocks up for a few seconds and then the audio goes out of sync with the video, I have followed all the guides using Virtual dub mp3 to locate the bad frames and delete them, but Virtual dub and Vitual dub mp3 dont find any bad frames ?

    ??????

  2. Downloaded AVIs are notorious for being error prone. Try to download another copy of the AVI file.

I tried four times , each time picking one with a differnet file size in order to see if anyone else had cracked it.

What I cant understand is why any of the virtual dub programs I have wont find the bad frames.

At the moment I am stripping the bad blocks out , seperating the audio and then working on the audio in Wavelab, apart from having a fully equiped TV editing suite, there must be an easier way

No easier way around fixing this type of problem, the bad frames can be played no problem and thats why virtualdub cant spot them.
