I got an .mpg file which I burned onto a CD-R and made it a VCD. It plays great on my DVD Drive and my home DVD Player thus enabling me to view it on TV. Now my question is, do I really need a DVD Player or a DVD drive to play this VCD ? Can't I just put it in my CD-Rom drive on my laptop, install Power-DVD and run it just like that ?
