Can anyone explain these 2 errors to me?? What can I do to recitify the problem?

Each program has reached an unreadable spot on the DVD. The DVD may be scratched or dirty. Clean the DVD and try to rip it again.

The second one is due to a faulty disk. You may be able to fix this by cleaning it but I've had a couple do this and when I looked at the underside there was a big scratch on it.

As the previous poster mentioned, the reader couldnt read this section of the dvd. a few suggestions. Clean the dvd, use a different reader to rip it, use dvddecrypter to rip it. I have had dvd's that dvdshrink would throw this error on and then I would use dvddecrypter to rip ISO mode (or file mode) and i would be fine.
