I am trying to use the guides on this site to convert an AVI to DVD using DIKO.
I stripped the first 5 minutes of an AVI using VirtualDub and the resulting shorter AVI is in sync.
I then use DIKO as per the guide.
The resulting VOB audio is a couple of seconds ahead of the video whether played on my PC or a DVD player.
Any advice is appreciated.

if it is mp3 vbr audio you might get sync problems when you cut with virtualdub. did you get any warning about that? if so try cut with virtualdub-mp3-freeze
