    Hi,

    I'm using virtualdub to transform DVD to AVI using XVID codec, I installed the latest codec from XVID page to update the Virutaldub XVID codec but when I enter to configure the XVID codec on Virtualdub the new codec doesn't appear, the old codec remains.

    Cn you please tell me what can i do so virtualdub can use the new XVID codec, I mean how can I update this codec so virtualdub recognize it.

    UNinstall the old codec first.
    then reboot
    ThEN install the new codec
    Then reboot
    Then use the new codec
    .
