I was a big fan of Rodney Dangerfield and loved everything he did. He was one of those great comedians like Stever Martin who could always be funny because his routine was so likeable. I am very saddened by his death and hope his work will live on forever! Back to School is a classic.

B.S. He was a great actor. Natural Born Killers. Enough said.

No kidding. You can disparage the movie as a whole, but Dangerfield stepped out of his comedic 'comfort-zone' & was riveting as the abusive father.

I always liked Dangerfield. (see a previous poll about favorite comics)Even when he was alive I saw that some people didn't get his style. In the early days you would only see him do a short routine on Carson or a beer ad or something. When his movie "Easy money" came out I almost pissed my pants. I think that he spoke for the underdog or anyone down on their luck. Maybe I liked his cynicism or that he looked like the blue collar steel mill workers that I grew up around. In any event we suffer a loss.
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?
